Japan Touch
Redesign of the Japan Touch website, an annual event dedicated to Japanese culture. A project that allowed me to explore a strong artistic direction, from the design of the mockups to the integration choices — with a few technical decisions that made all the difference.

The Japan Touch is an annual must-see event in Lyon, hosted at the Eurexpo park, entirely dedicated to Japanese culture — traditions, contemporary art, manga and pop culture. The objective of this project was to redesign the official website of the event, which lacked a strong visual identity consistent with the universe it represents.
The challenge was twofold: to create a visually immersive experience that reflects the cultural richness of the Japan Touch, while offering a modern and intuitive brand navigation adapted to a passionate, mainly young audience.
The final deliverable is a redesigned website, accessible online, including a homepage with an illustrated hero section and several pages presenting the event and its universe.
This project meets the initial objective by providing Japan Touch with a coherent, memorable, and culturally anchored identity. The original illustration and the sakura graphic design choice constitute the differentiating elements that give the project real added value. The transition to Framer was also an opportunity to gain autonomy with the tool, for a cleaner and more sustainable financial result.
